Boty Mail processes personal data (your account data and your subscribers’ data) under the GDPR and the LSSI-CE. This page is a practical summary; the current legal text is on the official pages, which are the source of truth.

The essentials in Boty Mail

• Real consent. You can only send to contacts with a valid legal basis: confirmed double opt-in (or an equivalent operator attestation). Uploading a purchased list does not enable sending.
• Immutable consent record. Every consent event is stored in an append-only log, as legal proof.
• Legal identity in every email. The identity block (LSSI-CE) and the unsubscribe footer are injected on the server and cannot be removed.
• One-click unsubscribe. The unsubscribe link meets the one-click standard (RFC 8058).
• Erasure (Art. 17). There is a deletion process that pseudonymizes the data subject and keeps the consent record as legal proof.

Data transfers and providers

AI processing may leave the EU

Storage and sending are EU-oriented. However, AI processing may use providers outside the EU depending on the plan. That is why we don’t claim “100% EU-sovereign” without nuance: the applicable transfers and sub-processors are detailed in the legal documentation/DPA. Check the official privacy page for the current detail.
