Frequently asked questions

No. Boty does not post automatically. When you schedule a post, Boty reminds you at the chosen time and you publish it on Instagram or LinkedIn (usually by copying the content). There’s no native automatic posting yet. See Calendar and publishing.

Today, Instagram (via Meta) and LinkedIn (via OAuth). Other networks (X, TikTok, Facebook) show up in some materials but they’re on the roadmap, not available yet.

The text, yes: captions, ideas and trend remixes are generated with real language models, conditioned by your brand. Image generation is real too. On the other hand, the post’s “Best time” and “AI Score” are not AI: they’re deterministic rules (see below).

So what things are NOT AI even though they look like it?

Section titled “So what things are NOT AI even though they look like it?”
  • The “Best time” (smart-schedule): a table by sector/platform/day/hour.
  • The post’s “AI Score” and “estimated engagement”: rules about length, hashtags, emojis, call to action, etc.

They’re useful as a guide, but they aren’t an AI model. That’s why they don’t cost credits.

Why does the AI always give me something similar?

Section titled “Why does the AI always give me something similar?”

If you notice it in a local demo environment, that’s the development simulator, not the real AI. In production the text is generated with real models and changes between requests.

Not yet. Sentiment detection for comments and mentions is planned, but it’s not built.

Section titled “Does Boty link my posts to customers/leads?”

Not automatically today. Social measures your activity on networks; the bridge “this post brought me this customer” toward Boty Leads is a product direction, not a data flow available yet.

Generating a caption, ideas or remix: 1 credit. Generating an image: 2 credits. Brand extraction and hashtag suggestion: free. Details in Plans and credits.

The AI actions that cost credits are blocked until the next month or until you upgrade your plan. The calendar, scheduling recommendations, the Score and analytics keep working.

No. You can cancel whenever you want and the free plan doesn’t ask for a card. See Account and billing.
