Trade starter kit

Route: /consola/kit. It is the shortcut past a blank console: you pick your trade, you see exactly what would be created, and you apply it. Everything a kit leaves behind is editable like anything else, and while you have not edited it, the whole thing can be undone.

A hair salon and a physiotherapy clinic do not have the same scheduling problem. A cut is thirty minutes and highlights are two and a half hours; a physio session is forty-five minutes but the first assessment is sixty; a yoga studio does not sell hours, it sells mats. Until now the nine sector pages explained that difference and then everybody landed in the same empty console.

The kit is that explanation, turned into configuration.

The numbers are not decoration. A barbershop can sell the slot an hour from now, which is why its cancellation window closes at six hours; a tattoo studio cannot take a deposit, so its only protection against a five-hour hole is a three-day deadline. A laser clinic opens its diary six months ahead because an eight-session protocol spans half a year, and asks for 24 hours of lead because the area has to be shaved the day before.

Each kit creates:

  • The service catalogue, with each service’s real duration and the post-service buffer where the trade needs one (cleaning up after a colour, turning a treatment room over between massages, sterilising after a tattoo sitting).
  • One professional with her weekly hours — a split shift where the trade has one, a Saturday morning, and Sunday opening in the spa’s case.
  • The booking policy: slot grid, minimum lead, horizon and cancellation cutoff.
  • Weekly classes, only in the yoga and pilates kit, with their capacity.

This is the one thing a kit cannot know. The prices it ships are our placeholder and are labelled as such, with the trade’s usual range shown next to each one. Before applying you have to tick the box saying you will review them, and that is not screen decoration: the server refuses the request if it does not arrive ticked.

  • It creates no clients and no appointments. Your client list starts empty on purpose: inventing an “Ana Ejemplo” inside your real records is something you would have to clean up afterwards.
  • It touches nothing you already have. A service that already carries the same name is skipped, never overwritten. If you already have staff, the kit creates no professional and changes nobody’s hours: it assigns the new services to whoever is already active, and tells you before doing it.
  • It does not set up your whole team. It creates one professional, because the Solo plan seats one active. You add the rest in Equipo, each with their own schedule and services.

Each kit’s button reads “Ver qué cambiaría”, not “Apply”. What opens is the full plan:

  • every service, with its duration, buffer and indicative price, marked Nuevo or Se salta with the reason;
  • whether a professional is created and with how many weekly windows, or who the services get assigned to if you already have a team;
  • the classes, when the kit brings any;
  • the booking policy, field by field, with the current value and the one it would become;
  • what that kit does not solve for you.

If anything blocks the apply — your plan not seating another professional, for instance — it is stated there and the button stays disabled. A kit is never half-applied.

While a kit is applied, the screen offers Deshacer el kit. Only the rows the kit created are removed, identified one by one: if you created your own “Corte” the next morning, that one stays.

There are two exceptions, and both protect your history:

  • A service or a professional that already has appointments is deactivated rather than deleted. That is exactly what deactivating means in Reserve: it leaves the booking page, the history stays.
  • A class with students booked in is not removed. The seat belongs to a person, not to this button.

The booking policy reverts to what it was before the apply. When it finishes, the screen tells you what was removed and what stayed, with the reason.

The kit leaves the console at a point where your booking page already returns slots, but two things are still missing before it is yours:

  1. Review the prices in Services.
  2. Set your business name and publish your link in Brand.

The console’s “Puesta en marcha” checklist tracks both.
